Aviation medicals can be time consuming frustrating and expensive; to try and make the process more efficient please read on.

There are several steps to the medical certification process. Being prepared for your examination is the first step in process and can help save time by reducing the need for potential follow up activity. Please read the steps required for medical certification on the CASA website.

From the 21st of March 2016, all aviation medicals will need to be completed online by pilots and air traffic controllers (ATCs). Pilots and ATCs with a medical due from this date will receive an email notification which will direct them to confirm personal details and update their medical history in MRS. For more information on the Medical Records System Online (MRS) please refer to the CASA website.
